A guide to uninstall Chromium from your system

Chromium is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Chromium. Check out here for more information on Chromium. Chromium is usually set up in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application folder, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's option when installing the program. Chromium's full uninstall command line is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\61.0.3116.0\Installer\setup.exe. Chromium's main file takes around 1.29 MB (1353216 bytes) and is named chrome.exe.

Chromium is composed of the following executables which take 2.99 MB (3134464 bytes) on disk:

  • chrome.exe (1.29 MB)
  • setup.exe (1.70 MB)

A way to uninstall Chromium with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is an application marketed by the software company Chromium. Frequently, computer users try to remove it. 3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Chromium or simply click the Search feature and type in "Chromium". If it is installed on your PC the Chromium app will be found very quickly. When you click Chromium in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Chromium, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Chromium.

8. After removing Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Chromium which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
