How to uninstall Dropbox from your system

Dropbox is a software application. If you are manually uninstalling Dropbox we suggest you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Dropbox

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Dropbox:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin\DropboxExt.14.dll
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin\DropboxExt64.14.dll
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Dropbox\bin\msvcp71.dll

Many times the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Dropbox.AutoplayEventHandler
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dropbox
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Dropbox

Registry values that are not removed from your PC:

How to delete Dropbox from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
