After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Part_A few of these are shown below.

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall AMD Settings:
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\AMD Radeon Settings.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\4782E1C220EA2805C1793F335A147287
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\F7EDACAFF32BF675D8E3A7B3A51A5546

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\4782E1C220EA2805C1793F335A147287\ProductName

A way to erase AMD Settings from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AMD Settings is an application offered by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.. Sometimes, users try to remove this program. This is hard because deleting this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove AMD Settings is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find AMD Settings or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AMD Settings". If it exists on your system the AMD Settings app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select AMD Settings in the list of programs, some data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about AMD Settings, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AMD Settings.

8. After uninstalling AMD Settings, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of AMD Settings that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AMD Settings using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
