How to uninstall Dropbox from your PC

A way to remove Dropbox using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dropbox is a program released by Dropbox, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because removing this by hand requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE practice to erase Dropbox is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Dropbox or simply activate the Search field and type in "Dropbox". The Dropbox application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Dropbox in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Dropbox, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Dropbox.
