Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you remove AVG Protection.

A way to uninstall AVG Protection from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG Protection is a program marketed by the software company AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users decide to erase this application. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to clean your computer.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate AVG Protection or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG Protection". If it exists on your system the AVG Protection program will be found automatically. When you select AVG Protection in the list of applications, the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about AVG Protection, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove AVG Protection.


8. After removing AVG Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of AVG Protection which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AVG Protection using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
