How to uninstall AVG Protection from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG Protection is an application released by the software company AVG Technologies. Some computer users decide to uninstall it. Take the following steps on how to do this:

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find AVG Protection or simply click the Search feature and type in "AVG Protection". The AVG Protection program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select AVG Protection in the list of applications, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about AVG Protection, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG Protection.

8. After uninstalling AVG Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of AVG Protection which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AVG Protection with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
