A way to erase AVG Protection from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG Protection is an application by AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users decide to remove this application.   • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find AVG Protection or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AVG Protection". If it is installed on your PC the AVG Protection app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select AVG Protection in the list , some data about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about AVG Protection, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall AVG Protection.

8. After removing AVG Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG Protection that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
