If you are manually uninstalling AVG Protection we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

The files below were left behind on your disk by AVG Protection's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Av\avgui.exe
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\AVG\AVG Protection.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\AVG Protection.lnk

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:
