How to uninstall AVG Protection from your system

How to delete AVG Protection with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG Protection is an application offered by the software company AVG Technologies. Some people try to remove it. Take the following steps on how to do this:

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find AVG Protection or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG Protection". If it exists on your system the AVG Protection app will be found very quickly. After you select AVG Protection in the list of programs, some data about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about AVG Protection, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG Protection.

8. After removing AVG Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG Protection that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AVG Protection using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
