If you are manually uninstalling AVG Protection we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AVG

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

How to erase AVG Protection from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG Protection is a program marketed by the software company AVG Technologies. Sometimes, users want to remove it. Sometimes this is efortful because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY approach to remove AVG Protection is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AVG Protection or simply click the Search feature and type in "AVG Protection". If it is installed on your PC the AVG Protection program will be found automatically. When you select AVG Protection in the list , some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding AVG Protection, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AVG Protection.


8. After removing AVG Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG Protection which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
