How to uninstall CCleaner from your computer

How to uninstall CCleaner with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CCleaner is an application marketed by the software company Piriform. Sometimes, computer users want to erase this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CCleaner or simply click the Search feature and type in "CCleaner". The CCleaner application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select CCleaner in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding CCleaner, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\CCleaner\unins000.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CCleaner.

8. After removing CCleaner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong CCleaner that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
