How to uninstall Atom from your computer

Atom is a computer program. This page is comprised of details on how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was developed by GitHub Inc.. Check out here for more details on GitHub Inc.. Usually the Atom application is installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\atom folder, depending on the user's option during install. You can remove Atom by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\atom\Update.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. atom.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 431.03 KB (441376 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is an application by GitHub Inc.. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall this program. • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Atom or simply click the Search field and type in "Atom". The Atom program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Atom in the list , the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Atom, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Atom.


8. After uninstalling Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
