Some files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be uninstalled when you want to remove Uplay from your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Uplay from your computer:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Uplay
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

How to remove Uplay from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Uplay or simply click the Search field and type in "Uplay". If it is installed on your PC the Uplay application will be found very quickly. After you select Uplay in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Uplay, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Uplay.


8. After removing Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Uplay that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Uplay with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
