How to uninstall VeraCrypt from your computer

VeraCrypt is a software application. A way to delete VeraCrypt from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VeraCrypt is a program released by the software company IDRIX. Some computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this is efortful because deleting this manually requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY manner to erase VeraCrypt is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate VeraCrypt or simply click the Search feature and type in "VeraCrypt". If it exists on your system the VeraCrypt program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select VeraCrypt in the list of applications, some data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about VeraCrypt, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VeraCrypt.

8. After removing VeraCrypt, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of VeraCrypt which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing VeraCrypt using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
