Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are listed below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall VeraCrypt:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\VeraCrypt

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

A way to uninstall VeraCrypt using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VeraCrypt is an application offered by the software company IDRIX. Frequently, users try to erase this program. 3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate VeraCrypt or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VeraCrypt". If it exists on your system the VeraCrypt app will be found automatically. When you select VeraCrypt in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding VeraCrypt, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for VeraCrypt:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\VeraCrypt\VeraCrypt Setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VeraCrypt.


8. After uninstalling VeraCrypt, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of VeraCrypt which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
