How to uninstall VeraCrypt from your computer

VeraCrypt is a Windows program. How to delete VeraCrypt from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VeraCrypt is an application released by IDRIX. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove this application. This is difficult because removing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE solution to remove VeraCrypt is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VeraCrypt or simply activate the Search field and type in "VeraCrypt". The VeraCrypt app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click VeraCrypt in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding VeraCrypt, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VeraCrypt.

8. After uninstalling VeraCrypt, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VeraCrypt which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
