Quite a few files, folders and registry data will not be uninstalled when you want to remove VeraCrypt from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall VeraCrypt:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\VeraCrypt

Files remaining:

Generally the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

A way to uninstall VeraCrypt using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VeraCrypt is a program released by IDRIX. Some people choose to erase it. This can be difficult because removing this manually takes some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate VeraCrypt or simply click the Search feature and type in "VeraCrypt". The VeraCrypt application will be found automatically. When you select VeraCrypt in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding VeraCrypt, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for VeraCrypt:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VeraCrypt.
