A guide to uninstall SnapGene from your system

You can find below details on how to uninstall SnapGene for Windows. It is made by GSL Biotech LLC. More information about GSL Biotech LLC can be found here. More information about SnapGene can be found at https://www.snapgene.com. Usually the SnapGene program is placed in the C:\Program Files\SnapGene directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for removing SnapGene is C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file occupies 32.03 MB (33583520 bytes) on disk and is titled SnapGene.exe.

How to remove SnapGene from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application offered by GSL Biotech LLC. Some users want to remove it. Sometimes this can be difficult because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE solution to remove SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search field and type in "SnapGene". The SnapGene program will be found very quickly. After you select SnapGene in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The web site of the application is: https://www.snapgene.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
