A way to uninstall SnapGene from your system

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for administrator rights. SnapGene's main file takes about 20.86 MB (21869264 bytes) and is called SnapGene.exe.

A way to erase SnapGene from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program offered by GSL Biotech LLC. Some users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate SnapGene or simply click the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it exists on your system the SnapGene application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select SnapGene in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SnapGene:

• The software company is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
