A guide to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

SnapGene is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by GSL Biotech LLC. Take a look here where you can get more info on GSL Biotech LLC. Further information about SnapGene can be found at http://gslbiotech.com. SnapGene is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene folder, regulated by the user's option. You can uninstall SnapGene by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. SnapGene.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 23.72 MB (24874144 bytes) on disk.

How to erase SnapGene from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program offered by GSL Biotech LLC. Some computer users choose to erase it. This can be difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to PCs. The best EASY manner to erase SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply activate the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene program will be found automatically. After you click SnapGene in the list of applications, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The publisher is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
