How to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

SnapGene has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

The files below remain on your disk by SnapGene's application uninstaller when you removed it:

How to uninstall SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application offered by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Some people decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE solution to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene app will be found automatically. When you click SnapGene in the list of programs, some data about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SnapGene:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
