A guide to uninstall SnapGene from your system

How to uninstall SnapGene from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application offered by GSL Biotech LLC. Frequently, people choose to remove it. This is hard because deleting this by hand takes some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY manner to remove SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". The SnapGene program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SnapGene in the list , some information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SnapGene.

8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
