How to uninstall SnapGene with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application offered by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Some users want to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. The best QUICK action to erase SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". The SnapGene app will be found very quickly. After you click SnapGene in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SnapGene:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
