A way to uninstall SnapGene from your system

SnapGene is a Windows program. How to erase SnapGene from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program marketed by GSL Biotech LLC. Sometimes, users try to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some know-how regarding PCs. The best EASY practice to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate SnapGene or simply click the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it exists on your system the SnapGene program will be found very quickly. When you click SnapGene in the list of applications, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SnapGene:

• The web site of the application is: https://www.snapgene.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
