How to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

SnapGene's entire uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe. SnapGene.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 23.27 MB (24401568 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
SnapGene is a program by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Some people choose to remove it. Sometimes this is efortful because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY solution to remove SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.
DOWNLOAD NOW- navigate to Download Link
- download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.
3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you
6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate SnapGene or simply activate the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene app will be found automatically. When you click SnapGene in the list of applications, the following information about the application is shown to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
For example you can see that for SnapGene:
- The web site of the program is: http://gslbiotech.com
- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SnapGene.

8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
