A way to delete SnapGene from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application released by GSL Biotech LLC. Some people choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY action to remove SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene application will be found automatically. When you click SnapGene in the list of applications, some information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
For instance you can see that for SnapGene:





  • The software company is: http://gslbiotech.com
  • The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe" /S
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove SnapGene.

8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
