How to delete SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program marketed by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Some users want to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because doing this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE approach to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate SnapGene or simply activate the Search field and type in "SnapGene". The SnapGene application will be found very quickly. After you click SnapGene in the list , some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SnapGene:

• The publisher is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
