How to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

How to uninstall SnapGene from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program offered by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Sometimes, users decide to erase it. Sometimes this can be efortful because performing this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK solution to erase SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate SnapGene or simply click the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click SnapGene in the list of apps, the following information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The publisher is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
