How to uninstall SnapGene from your PC

A way to erase SnapGene from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program marketed by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Frequently, people decide to uninstall this program. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it exists on your system the SnapGene application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SnapGene in the list of applications, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
