How to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

A way to delete SnapGene from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application offered by GSL Biotech LLC. Frequently, people want to remove it. This can be hard because doing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK practice to remove SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate SnapGene or simply click the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it exists on your system the SnapGene program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click SnapGene in the list of applications, some information about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
