A way to uninstall SnapGene from your PC

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for administrator rights. SnapGene.exe is the SnapGene's main executable file and it takes about 24.47 MB (25656992 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase SnapGene from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program offered by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Sometimes, users choose to remove it. This is troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SnapGene in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The web site of the program is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
