A way to uninstall SnapGene from your PC

You can find below details on how to remove SnapGene for Windows. It was coded for Windows by GSL Biotech LLC. Additional info about GSL Biotech LLC can be found here. More information about SnapGene can be seen at https://www.snapgene.com. SnapGene is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files\SnapGene directory, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's choice when installing the application. The full command line for uninstalling SnapGene is C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for administrator rights. SnapGene.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 31.52 MB (33056128 bytes) on disk.

How to remove SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application by GSL Biotech LLC. Some users choose to uninstall this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this manually takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY action to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate SnapGene or simply activate the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click SnapGene in the list , the following data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
