How to uninstall SnapGene from your PC

Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. SnapGene.exe is the SnapGene's main executable file and it takes close to 38.79 MB (40672192 bytes) on disk.

How to remove SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application by the software company GSL Biotech LLC. Some people try to erase it. This is troublesome because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY manner to erase SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your computer.

• visit Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply activate the Search field and type in "SnapGene". The SnapGene app will be found very quickly. When you click SnapGene in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SnapGene.


8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
