A guide to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. SnapGene.exe is the SnapGene's main executable file and it occupies approximately 35.87 MB (37611928 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program marketed by GSL Biotech LLC. Frequently, computer users try to erase it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY practice to erase SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SnapGene or simply activate the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene program will be found very quickly. After you click SnapGene in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SnapGene:

• The publisher is: https://www.snapgene.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
