A way to uninstall SnapGene from your computer

SnapGene is a Windows application. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. SnapGene's main file takes about 38.62 MB (40493040 bytes) and its name is SnapGene.exe.

How to delete SnapGene with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program offered by GSL Biotech LLC. Some users want to uninstall this application. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge regarding PCs. The best QUICK approach to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select SnapGene in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SnapGene:

• The software company is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
