A way to delete SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is an application by GSL Biotech LLC. Some computer users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be hard because removing this manually requires some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best QUICK action to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SnapGene or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it exists on your system the SnapGene app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click SnapGene in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The software company is: http://gslbiotech.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SnapGene.


8. After removing SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
