How to uninstall SnapGene from your system

How to remove SnapGene from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program marketed by GSL Biotech LLC. Some users try to erase it. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SnapGene or simply click the Search field and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select SnapGene in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding SnapGene, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove SnapGene.

All the items of SnapGene which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
