A way to uninstall McAfee® AntiVirus from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® AntiVirus is a program marketed by McAfee, Inc.. Frequently, computer users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some know-how related to PCs. The best EASY way to uninstall McAfee® AntiVirus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find McAfee® AntiVirus or simply activate the Search field and type in "McAfee® AntiVirus". The McAfee® AntiVirus app will be found very quickly. When you select McAfee® AntiVirus in the list of programs, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about McAfee® AntiVirus, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall McAfee® AntiVirus.


8. After uninstalling McAfee® AntiVirus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong McAfee® AntiVirus which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing McAfee® AntiVirus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
