After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall VMware Workstation:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VMware\workstation.log
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\VMWARE-WORKSTATION-FULL-12.5.-508C23A9.pf.lnk

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VMware Workstation
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\D7600A1A8EBD1674D885EAE88CC4D9D5
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{A1A0067D-DBE8-4761-8D58-AE8EC84C9D5D}
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\D7600A1A8EBD1674D885EAE88CC4D9D5\ProductName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Folders\C:\WINDOWS\Installer\{A1A0067D-DBE8-4761-8D58-AE8EC84C9D5D}\

How to delete VMware Workstation from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Workstation". If it exists on your system the VMware Workstation application will be found automatically. After you click VMware Workstation in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding VMware Workstation, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
