Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you uninstall VMware Workstation.

The files below remain on your disk by VMware Workstation's application uninstaller when you removed it:

Many times the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

A way to remove VMware Workstation from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is an application offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some people choose to uninstall this application. • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Workstation". If it exists on your system the VMware Workstation app will be found automatically. • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VMware Workstation.


8. After removing VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup.
