Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Part_A few of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall VMware Workstation:

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

A way to remove VMware Workstation from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is an application offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some people choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Workstation". If it exists on your system the VMware Workstation app will be found automatically. When you select VMware Workstation in the list , some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding VMware Workstation, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Workstation.


8. After uninstalling VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Workstation which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Workstation using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
