Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\C98314208C6B88B42AEBBAA01C7FE736\ProductName


A way to remove VMware Workstation from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is an application released by VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users try to remove this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this manually takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning.   • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Workstation". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Workstation app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click VMware Workstation in the list of apps, the following information about the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about VMware Workstation, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove VMware Workstation.

8. After removing VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of VMware Workstation that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing VMware Workstation using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
