How to uninstall VMware Workstation from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is a program released by VMware, Inc.. Some users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this is hard because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY procedure to remove VMware Workstation is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Workstation". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Workstation application will be found automatically. When you click VMware Workstation in the list , the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding VMware Workstation, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall VMware Workstation.

8. After removing VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Workstation that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Workstation with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
