A way to erase VMware Workstation using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is an application marketed by the software company VMware, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users want to erase this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE approach to erase VMware Workstation is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Workstation". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Workstation application will be found automatically. When you select VMware Workstation in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding VMware Workstation, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Workstation.

8. After removing VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of VMware Workstation that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing VMware Workstation with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
