Quite a few files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be removed when you remove VMware Workstation from your computer.

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

A way to erase VMware Workstation from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Workstation is a program marketed by VMware, Inc.. Some users choose to uninstall this application. This can be hard because doing this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall VMware Workstation is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VMware Workstation or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Workstation". If it is installed on your PC the VMware Workstation application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click VMware Workstation in the list , some data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VMware Workstation, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove VMware Workstation.


8. After uninstalling VMware Workstation, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of VMware Workstation which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
