How to uninstall ShareX from your PC

ShareX is a Windows program. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was developed for Windows by ShareX Team. Check out here for more information on ShareX Team. More info about the app ShareX can be found at https://getsharex.com. The program is usually placed in the C:\Program Files\ShareX directory. Take into account that this location can differ depending on the user's preference. You can uninstall ShareX by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. ShareX.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 193.00 KB (197632 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall ShareX from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application marketed by the software company ShareX Team. Some people try to erase this application. Sometimes this is efortful because performing this manually takes some experience regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it is installed on your PC the ShareX app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click ShareX in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ShareX:

• The software company is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of ShareX which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
