A way to uninstall ShareX from your computer

A way to remove ShareX from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program released by ShareX Team. Frequently, people choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be hard because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY way to uninstall ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". The ShareX application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click ShareX in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ShareX.


8. After removing ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of ShareX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
