How to uninstall ShareX from your system

A way to remove ShareX from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application released by the software company ShareX Team. Sometimes, users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this is hard because doing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE action to erase ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your PC.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ShareX or simply click the Search feature and type in "ShareX". If it exists on your system the ShareX app will be found automatically. After you click ShareX in the list of programs, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The web site of the application is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of ShareX that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
