A guide to uninstall ShareX from your system

Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. ShareX's primary file takes around 2.14 MB (2241024 bytes) and its name is ShareX.exe.

How to delete ShareX from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is a program by the software company ShareX Team. Some people want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this manually requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". If it exists on your system the ShareX program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select ShareX in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about ShareX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The software company is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
