How to uninstall ShareX from your system

A way to erase ShareX from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ShareX is an application released by ShareX Team. Sometimes, people decide to erase this program. This is troublesome because performing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to PCs. One of the best EASY way to erase ShareX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate ShareX or simply activate the Search field and type in "ShareX". The ShareX application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click ShareX in the list of apps, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about ShareX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ShareX:

• The publisher is: https://getsharex.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\ShareX\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ShareX.


8. After uninstalling ShareX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong ShareX that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ShareX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
